Jayzen is excited to welcome Kosha Irby to the show. Kosha has had an incredible career in sports marketing and the business of sports after starting as a student athlete. He is currently the CMO of Professional Bull Riders (PBR), and first to admit he’s not what people think of as a cowboy. He continues to be successful in leveraging his unique perspective to help expand the PBR brand.

Kosha was hooked on the business of sports after a really unique entrepreneurial effort while a college athlete. His career stories are as insightful as they are entertaining, as he has worked around the world and brought his unique brand and perspective to every position he has had. Notably, he oversaw live event marketing and sales for WWE in several global markets.

Kosha Irby
Kosha Irby (CO-Shay ER-BEE) currently serves as CMO & SVP Business Development and Consumer Events for Professional Bull Riders (PBR). He is responsible for all aspects of PBR’s consumer marketing and live event efforts.
Prior to joining PBR, Irby was Team President of the Memphis Express. In this role, he oversaw all business functions for the professional football club. Prior to that, Irby oversaw live event marketing and sales for various domestic and international markets on behalf of WWE, a publicly traded (NYSE: WWE) global media company.
Prior to joining WWE in 2011, Irby served in various senior marketing positions at Georgia State University, Saint Louis University and the University of South Florida.
Irby attended the University of Memphis (1996-01) and earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sport science in 2000 and his MBA in Marketing in 2001.
